Tear Resistance

Tear Resistance measures how much force is required to continue a tear once it has started in a wallcovering material. Unlike breaking strength, which measures initial failure, tear resistance reflects real-world durability, such as what happens if a corner catches or a seam edge begins to separate. Strong tear resistance is a key indicator of a wallcovering's longevity on the wall.
